Hello lovelies, I'm now officially halfway through my 12 weeks of Halloween. It's certainly keeping me on my toes. Today I am making a Pop-Up Tunnel Card.

This week I have actually made my first Halloween card.

It starts with a harmless door...the idea to put a letterbox on it came from a card I saw from Split Coast Stampers (jandjccc...that I can't find her particular card at the moment - doh!)

I used the Ornate Frames Die and some Copper Foil for the letter box. The warning sign is embossed with Copper Embossing Powder.

I used the Spooktacular Bash Bundle for most of my stamping and die cutting for this card.

The actual card front door is made from Basic Grey Card stock and every edge is sponged with Basic Grey, then mounted on dimensionals.

When you open the card, it pops up to reveal what I sort of think as a library with secrete cupboards that hold creepy items.

I used Monster Bash DSP and

. The centre part with the cobwebs was cut from the Ornate Frames Dies and you can see I have used one of the bits from it as a background for the cat to sit on on the left panel.

Both animals were stamped on Basic Black Cardstock and embossed with Black Embossing Powder to give a solid black finish. I fussy cut them out and mounted them on diementionals.

The word Creepy and the cobwebs were embossed with White Embossing Powder.

Here you can see that the raven is embossed onto black cardstock. He is from The Raven Stamp set.

The card idea and tutorial came from Shelhickox.blogspot.com her tutorial was good and easy to follow, so I didn't make one for this particular card.
