Hello there lovelies, welcome to week 7 of Halloween. This week I have made a Mini Photo Album. I designed it to hold the photos from my upcoming Halloween Card and Party Class I am holding next month. (So excited!!!)
If you are thinking hey, this album looks familiar...then you are correct! It's the same model
I used on my Bird Ballad Album. (The full instructions are on that blog).
There are 6 main pages (12 sides) and all the DSP paper was from the cute Monster Bash. The grey ribbon you can see is retired but I ran out of the Basic Black 3/8" (1 Cm) Scalloped Edge Ribbon from my last projects!!
As you will see, every page and piece of paper was inked on the edges with Basic Grey.
Here is a short video on what it looks like inside.
Page 2-3
I used Crumb Cake Cardstock for these pages. To get the edges on the end of every page I used the Magnolia Memory Die.
The words were printed on the computer onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Most pages open up to create a bigger surface area for my photos to go.
The rings that bind the album together are from Office Works.
Pages 4-5
Some pages I left quite plain as I plan to mount some photos with the coordinating cardstock once I have them printed. I used Basic Grey Card Stock here.
I used magnets throughout the book to help hold my pages closed and keep everything neat.
Pages 6-7
This is one of my favourite pages..the library. There are two little doors that open and reveal a space for a fun photo.
I attached two tiny brads to act as door handles.
At the moment, there is just a mummy inside...eventually it will a fun photo from my party.
Pages 8-9
More blank spaces ready for photos.
Stamp sets I used: Wonderfully Wicked , The Raven and Spooktacular Bash.
This time the page opens up and down ...just for interest.
Page 10-11
I have made mini photo frames ready to put photos of all my class friends in. I used the Ornate dies. I used Terracotta Tile Cardstock for these pages.
I can't wait for the party, and to take some fantastic shots of everyone.
That is all I have for you today.
Hopefully when I have all the photos in it , it will be a lovely keepsake of my party and all my wonderful friends.
May you have a fantastic day and thank you for taking the time to visit.
loves and hugs,
Sharni.
