Hello lovelies, I'm back with the second part of my Altered Picture Frame....wow there is a lot to show and tell today!
Here you can see a close up of my stamping with Early Espresso Ink using the Enjoy Life Stamp Set onto the Tea Room paper. I really like the finished effect. This was adhered onto the frame using double sided tape.
The rectangle wooden frame is from the Frames Elements. I outsourced the arrow and wooden word.
Here you can see the super cute bee in Gold Glimmer Paper cut out with Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies. He is sitting on two Sprigs cut from the Sprig Punch in Bermuda Bay.
The wooden circle is from the Frames Elements.
This project did take a lot of my time, designing, planning and then preparing all the elements for 8 other kits. (not to mention getting my children to dress up and model for me in the garden in the middle of winter!) It was however, well worth it because we now have some lovely memories of our beautiful children in a pretty frame.
The frame completed and hanging on my Craft Studio Wall.
Here is Tina, one of the lovely ladies who managed to complete her photo frame in one 4 hour session!! wah! And it is beautiful. She even managed to get it on the wall once she was home.
Two more gorgeous ladies, Nat & my mum Lyn who completed and nearly completed their beautiful frames. These ladies work like fireworks!
This is Nat's beautiful frame - another amazing piece of work. I was impressed how these ladies were able to adjust the embellishments to suit their photos and style...Nat cleverly changed her paper side to create a more Aqua/yellow colour base and it worked perfectly. I mean, not every likes pink as much as I do!
It was a great day and I really enjoyed taking this class and hope everyone enjoyed their day too. More fun next week when everyone else finishes their work.
A list of what I used above.....
That's all for now, I hope you found it useful and inspiring to creating your own Altered Picture Frame. Thank you for visiting and enjoy your day.
