Everything is Better with a Bird on Top!

Hello lovelies, I was so excited about my delivery of my Big Brown Box from Stampin' Up! that arrived yesterday, that I got up at 4.30 am this morning to try out more of my new products from the new 2019/20 catalogue. Yes, I will most probably crash around 2pm today...but it will be worth it. I seem to be my most creative in the quiet early hours of the morn.

I guess this is a bit of a teaser...! But I had to share, couldn't hold it in any longer.

These little chubby birds are from the Free as a Bird stamp set, I stamped in Basic Grey (my new Black!) then colourded them in with Blends. The birds were cut out then mounted on dimensionals. The background paper is the new Purple Posy Card Stock, adorable colour isn't it? I'm going to need a lot more of that.

I coloured in some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Blackberry Bliss Dark Stampin' Blend before sticking them down onto the card.

All the new products will be available to you when the new 2019/2020 Catalogue is released 4th June 2019.

It's hard to see here but I also went over the birds with one of the new In Colours - Seaside Spray using the Wink of Stella as the blending brush.

The background was created by daubering two new In Colours - Seaside Spray & Purple Posy on some Shimmery White Cardstock then flicking some water onto the surface.

The same technique was used here, just the birds are a different colour.

I loved these cards so much that I have decided to make it my next Technique Class coming up this July 7th.

I've called it....Blending with Stella & More! He, he, like that? This class we will make 3 cards using these techniques and then relax by the fire with homemade soup & rustic bread. So don't forget your slippers! Oh, and everyone will go home with their own Wink of Stella to keep!
