Fast and Fabulous Fridays - 25 June, 2021

Hello lovelies,

welcome to my very first Fast and Fabulous Friday blog. I have decided that I need to have more cards designed and ready to send for any occasion when the need arises. I make cards pretty much every day, and I have a craft room FULL of them! But when it comes to having that perfect card I want to send to a family member or friend for what ever reason, I just cant find one suitable! LOL

So, I have decided to dedicate every Friday morning designing and creating a card style that will be quick and beautiful - and ready to go. I may even leave the sentiment off until I know what the card will be for.

I really think this card made itself! All I did was stamp a sentiment and added a bit of bling. You can't go wrong with this gorgeous Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Paper.

It is so popular that it's currently on back order in Australia right now...but I am ordering more anyway because when it finally arrives it will be a wonderful surprise!

EXPRESSIONS IN INK 12" X 12" (30.5 X 30.5 CM) SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.

The paper has been made with Alcohol Ink and has a gold foiling throughout. The colours in this paper include - Evening Evergreen, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink, Shaded Spruce & gold. So it is quite easy to add any of these inks to compliment your card.

I used Just Jade (one of the new In Colours) and added a few Genial Gems. The are adorable because they have a little bit of gold glitter inside them for an extra sparkle.

The beauty about this paper is you can make 6 cards from one sheet! It would literally take you just a few minutes to make each card.

METHOD - (Australian Card Size)

1. Basic White Cardstock for the base card (8- 1/4" x 5 -7/8", scored in the middle at 4 - 1/8") (20.9cm x 14.9cm, score 10.4cm).

2. Cut a strip of the 12" x 12" Designer Paper at 4" then cut that strip into two pieces at 5 -3/4". (10.1cm x 14.6cm)

I used the Peaceful Moments Stamp which is such a versatile set and I really like the fonts used.
