Hello lovelies, welcome to ESAD's 2019 Occasions & Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop! I'm Sharni Haines from South Australia and really excited to be part of this talented group of Demonstrators from all over Australia and New Zealand - showcasing some awesome products from the new catalogues.
You may have just come from the lovely Rose Packer or have just started here. Either way keep going to see all the lovely creations everyone has made to share with you.
Being summer and a butterfly lover, I couldn't resist the Butterflies! I focused on the Botanical Butterfly DSP, which is free with every $90 you spend during Sale-A-Bration. I also used the coordinating Stamp & Punch Bundle - Butterfly Gala.
I have just hosted a Catalogue Launch Party and one of the gifts I gave to my fabulous class was a little box of gift note cards, so I thought I would recreate this to show you.
For those who know me, I do like to create 3D items and yes, I think I have used the Baker's Boxes before in a blog hop... but I just can't seem to help it.
I designed 4 cards in total, all 4"x4" Thick Whisper White so they fit comfortably in the Baker's Box.
The one above I used the stamp and punch to create the butterflies, and coloured them in with Stampin' Blends and as you can see, I smothered them in glorious glitter! I'm surprised I didn't get any on my face or in my hair this time.
The beautifully detailed leaves are from the new Wonderful Floral Framelits, I used Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
I believe very little needs to be done when you have DSP that looks like this! A few leaves, a stamped message and a touch of glitter...a sweet card for any occasion.
Another quick card with a few easy layers of DSP & Black Cardstock and the spare butterfly from the first card I showed you.
The fourth and final card I think is my most favorite. It's simple but elegant. A little fussy cutting of the butterfly from the DSP and some glitter...of course!
I stamped a circle cut from the Layering Circle Framelits with the Butterfly Gala Stamp in Memento Black Ink.
The neutral fibre is my new fav, Braided Linen Trim.
You can of course make many more cards to fit into this box, the combinations and designs are endless with this beautiful suite.
The Baker's Box was super quick to create, a piece of DSP, a tag, a fussy cut Butterfly and some coordinating ribbon. This butterfly has a super curly wing because the glitter is still wet! I curled all my butterfly wings with the Bonefolder and mounted them up with a Dimensional.
There you have it! A sweet set of gift cards, quick and easy ready for gifting or for your own use.
Thanks for visiting! I hope you gained some inspiration and ideas. Enjoy your day and the rest of this Hop!
I thank you all for your lovely comments, it makes me smile and takes me to a happy place! x
