Sale-A-Bration peak with Interlock Double Concertina Card - July 2021

Hello lovelies,

today I want to show you a technique card called the Interlock Double Concertina Card and some of the new products from Sale-A-Bration and the 2021 July-December Mini Catalogue.

This card design was inspired by a few different people, one pattern that stood out was by Sam Calcott who made some beautiful cards and explained how to make them well too.

I made two cards, one with Fresh Freesia a new In Colour and the other card I used Misty Moonlight an on going In Colour.

I wanted to use some of the new products that will be available from August 3, 2021. The Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper and the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper are two of the many items that are FREE when you spend $90 during August 3 to September. (One product per every $90). These two items would be in my top picks for the FREE products during Sale-a-Bration.

The other new items I am using is the Wonderful Snowflakes, Glittered Organdy Ribbon & the Penguin Place Stamp Set. You can view all these products in the new 2021 July-December Mini Catalogue.

Once your card is made, this is how it should when open.

I held a class yesterday with a lovely group of ladies who I think really enjoyed making their cards.

The animals on the Designer Papers are so cute and quite easy to fussy cut out.

I have listed the measurements below for you and made a video to see how to construct the card.

MEASUREMENTS

CARD BASE - Basic White - 10"x 6" (25.4 cm x 15.2 cm). Score in half at 5" on long side.

- Basic White - 10-1/2"x 6" (26.6 cm x 15.2 cm). Score in half at 5" on long side.

These two pieces will be eventually attached together to form a concertina fold.

CENTER PIECE - Basic White 11-3/4"x 4" (29.8 cm x 10.1 cm). Score - 1/2", 2", (1.2 cm, 5 cm) flip over and repeat on the other end. Score in half 5-7/8" (14.9 cm).

Fold mountain folds on both end score lines and valley fold in the center.

CARD STOCK - 4 pieces of your chosen colour I used Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight. 5 -7/8" x 4-7/8" (14.9 cm x 12.3 cm)

Be Dazzling Specialty Paper - 2 pieces - 3-7/8" x 1-3/8" (9.8 cm x 3.4 cm).

BASIC WHITE - 2" x 3-3/4" (5 cm x 9.5 cm). This is for the snow.

PENGUIN PLAYMATES DESIGNER SERIES PAPER - 2 pieces - 4-7/8" x 5-7/8" (12.3 cm x 14.9 cm).

- 4-1/2" x 5-1/2" (11.4 cm x 13.9 cm).

STAMPS - Penguin Place, Tidings & Trimmings

DIES- Give it Whirl, Rectangle Stitched, Tailor Made, Basic Borders

OTHER - Wonderful Snowflakes, Glittered Organdy Ribbon
