Hello lovelies, last weekend I had a fabulous time holding a card class, entertaining and strolling through my garden with friends. It was the Kindness Cards Kit Class where everyone made 10 beautiful cards ( and did it really well) then relaxed in the conservatory for Devonshire Tea followed by a walk through my 2 acre garden that I had opened privately just for them!
These are just some of the beautiful cards that were created by the class. I encouraged everyone to be individual and to do what they wished with their kits. We made lots of Happy Birthday Cards, some Sympathy, Get well and even turned one into a 70th Birthday Card!
It was a relaxing morning in my craft studio...I think the hardest thing was to choose what to say on the cards!
I held two sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday and everything just flowed really well. We all loved the cards - the colours, the designs and the ease it took to construct them.
Some of the ladies were very new to card making but didn't seem to have any trouble picking it up quite quickly.
Two beautiful ladies, Lynne and Sandy - experienced crafters! They both made the whole kit of 20 cards! Lynne brought along Sandy as a birthday present to her, how sweet.x
It was toasty warm and quite bright in the conservatory for scones, jam and cream, a perfect spot to enjoy morning tea.
Thanks to the perfect weather, everyone got to enjoy the garden without a spot of wind or rain (during the week leading up to the event, the weather was horrible!)
Another snap of my spring garden.
The beautiful Mrs. Michelle S in the sunken Rose garden...I bet the roses will all be out and stunning NEXT week!
My Charlie Girl amongst the petunias (first time for 3 years I could have any annuals due to a rabbit plague.)
Keep an eye out for my new year's classes for 2019 lovelies, where I always hold a Summer High Tea with cards and a 3 D project class. These fill up very quickly so don't hesitate.
One more thing...a big thank you to all the lovely ladies who came along and to those who even brought a friend to share the day with them. I appreciate your company, kindness, friendship and support. xxx
