Hello lovelies,
I'm Sharni Haines from South Australia and welcome to our monthly Scrapbook pages blog hop. I am glad you have joined me to hop all around the globe and check out some inspiring pages. This April theme was brought to you by the wonderful Sara...we are 'Scrapping it in the Round!'
Here is our beautiful and incredibly talented Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Creative Team.
Today's theme is brought to you by the talented Sara Levin.
We were able to translate what 'Scraping in the Round' meant to us...so I literally added a round boarder for my photo of Hubby & Charlie to symbolize the theme. (The super large circle dies are from my stash).
I used the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper and Memories & More Card Pack as well as Sea Side Spray, Crumb Cake, Basic Grey & Basic White Cardstock.
The edges of the papers were either torn, stressed, inked with Crumb Cake Ink or all three techniques.
I stamped some images from the Tasteful Touches in Crumb Cake (squares) as a bit of interest for the background on some of the Seaside Cardstock.
I used the Sailing Home Bundle for some stamping and die cutting to add to the nautical feel. The anchor was tired up with a bit of White Bakers' Twine.
Burlap Ribbon was used in a few places along with the Friends Like Seashells Bundle for a few accents.
Everything got a bit of Early Espresso ink flicked onto it (except the photo). I did this by putting a bit of ink onto a clear stamp base and then picking the ink up with a water brush and flicking the brush onto the lid over the page.
I also added a bit of white ink here and there.
I rolled up some of the papers to make 3 mini scrolls, glued them together onto a scrap bit of paper, then wrapped them together with a piece of Burlap Ribbon.
They were then accompanied with a few die cuts from the Smooth Sailing Dies.
The gold 'grate' looking thing at the bottom is from the World of Good Memories & More Card Pack -it is a sticker.
So that's all from me for now. Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you got some ideas or inspiration from my page.
Don't stop here...keep going to see what everyone else has designed for this fun theme.
Thank you for your comments, they always make me smile!
Loves & hugs,

Life of Charlie
This is not Charlie......Meet Francis. He is one of our two British Blue cats. He likes to lie in the sun, eat lasagna (when we are not looking), scratch on all my lounge room furniture and sit in bags.
