Hello lovelies,
I'm Sharni Haines from South Australia and welcome to our monthly Scrapbook pages blog hop. I am glad you have joined me to hop all around the globe and check out some inspiring pages. You may have started here or come from the wonderful and talented Sara.
This month we are 'Scrapping the Boys!' this theme was brought to you by the awesome Delys.
I would like to give a warm welcome to our newest team member...the wonderful and talented Julia Quinn!
Here is our beautiful and incredibly talented Scrapbooking Global - Stampin' Up! Creative Team.
Today's theme was brought to you by....
I celebrated my 50th Birthday last weekend with a Marie Antoinette Theme. This month's theme 'Scrap the Boys' is just perfect for all these handsome shots of the boys who came to my party!
Angus, our son is in the navy jacket with his mate, Alsetare. Hubby is in the center with his regal King Louie Aqua Blue. Don't they just look FABULOUS?
I used the IN GOOD TASTE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER for the base page. The wooden finish gave an earthy but neutral look.
I stamped the script image in Basic Grey Ink from Parisian Beauty (one of my most fav and well used stamp sets).
The journaling was written with a Basic Grey Marker Pen...which clearly needs replacing!! LOL. But time was of the essence and I had to just keep going! (only made this page 1 hour ago!).
All the foliage die cuts are from the Forever Flourishing Dies - Smoky Slate & Basic Grey Cardstock.
The large brad is from my retired stash. The ribbon is new...Smoky Slate Textured Ribbon.
I punched out a heart from a retired Heart Punch and stamped an image from the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set with Basic Grey.
Here is the big picture again to show you the smaller ribbon I used on a tag I made - Grey Granite Shimmer Ribbon.
So there it is in a nut shell. A very fast page indeed! I look forward to using more of my party photos soon in some upcoming blogs.
I hope you enjoyed that! Thanks so much for popping in, have a wonderful day and keep on crafting.
loves and hugs.
