Hello lovely crafters and welcome to another fabulous Scrapbooking Blog Hop!
This month's theme is 'Sketch' and was chosen by me! I have chosen a sketch of a scrapbook page, and we all create our own page using this sketch as a guide.
I'm Sharni Haines from South Australia you may have started here or come from the wonderful Sara!... either way have a look and keep on hopping around to see what beautiful creations everyone has to share with us today.
Here is the sketch I have chosen.
And here is my page. It has actually turned out a lot simpler than I was thinking, but of course when you have beautiful seashore pictures, you don't need much more! The handsome model is my hubby it was taken at one of our sunset walks along Middleton Beach, South Australia in July this year.
Even though it was the middle of winter, it was very mild and in fact a lot warmer there than it was at our home in the Adelaide Hills! We took two days off and stayed in a cute cabin. It was just pure bliss... in fact making this page today, made me want to plan another getaway very soon.
Here is what I used:
Stamps - Very Versailles for the background in Sahara Sand ink
Peaceful Moments for the sentiment stamped with Misty Moonlight.
Cardstock - Crumb Cake, Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight and Whisper White (12"x 12")
Dies - Layering Circles
Designer Series Paper - World of Good
Circle Punches - a mix of retired and new
To get the ink drops onto the page, I inked up a clear stamp base with Misty Moonlight and picked it up with my water pen and splattered the inky water onto my page.
I actually only just finished this page minutes ago....so I will definitely do a little more work on it and of course create a second matching page as I always like to do.
I loved using this sketch - it made this page so easy to do!
Hopefully you may find some inspiration and create your own.
That's all from me today. Thank you so much for popping in.
