Hello lovelies,
I am Sharni Haines from Australia, welcome to our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. Today I have a fun 3D project using the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper. This project was designed for the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop...
The theme was Fauna from the Mini Catalogue. This catalogue will be around until June this year.

There is my cheeky snail, hiding behind some grass. Snail on a Wall - 3D Project

The fun thing about this project was I did not stamp any images, I simply fussy cut out pictures from the Designer Paper. Once the mushrooms were cut and adhered to the project, I applied SHIMMERY CRYSTAL EFFECTS and a light sprinkle of glitter then allowed it to dry.

I added a couple of LADYBUG TRINKETS - I coloured them in with a red Stampin' Blend and hand drew a little trail with a black marker.

The only thing I did stamp was the sentiment. I used Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set, White Embossing Powder and Versa Mark Ink.

To make this 3D project, I cut a 6"x 6" piece of chipboard I saved from a Foil pack. (It's the stiff cardboard that keeps your paper from bending).
I then cut 2 pieces of Sahara Sand 6"x 6" and embossed them with the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.
I measured 1" on all four sides of one piece and hand cut out the center so It had a big square hole in the middle.

I then sponged both pieces with Sahara Sand Ink and a sponge.

I added a few layers of left over chipboard to the back of the cut out square to raise the height of the frame. I also added one strip of the reedy grass die cut from FRIENDLY SILHOUETTES DIES - these are retiring and are currently on sale.

Before I placed the grass (Pear Pizzazz) into the frame, I sponged on some Old Olive Ink.

I added more greenery to the top right of the frame using the FOREVER FLOURISHING DIES.

FOREVER FLOURISHING DIES.

This is the finished project. I haven't decided if I will put a ribbon on the back so it can be hung on a wall or if I turn it into a card and put a card base onto the back of it.
Anyway, if you like the Designer Paper as much as I do, now is the time to get some before it retires in JUNE.
That's all for now, thank you very much for dropping in I hope you have a wonderful day! A big thank you to Sara for hosting this hop.
Loves and hugs,

Please keep on hopping and see what amazing things everyone has made...
