Social Stamping - 2019-2021 In Colours - 27 March 2021

Updated: Mar 28, 2021

Hello lovelies,

welcome to the Social Stamping Blog hosted by the wonderful Kelly Kent!

I'm Sharni from South Australia, and are part of a group of Demonstrators

from all over Australia and New Zealand who love to connect through our art and passion of stamping and paper crafting.

I am honored to be able to be part of this group of talented crafters.

This month we will be featuring the soon to be retired In Colours for 2019-2021 as well as the 2020-2022 In Colours.

If you get lost at any time during the hop, you can go back to Kelly's Blog for the list of participants or see the list at the bottom of my post.

The In Colours for 2019-2021 are some of my favourites and I will be sad to see them go this May when the new Annual Catalogue is released.

I made a few cards using my 3 favourite colours from the In Colours. This first one is Seaside Spray. I utilized the new BRILLIANT WINGS DIES from the Butterfly Bouquet. This is available now to customers and will also be in the new Annual Catalogue so we have heaps of time to play with it!

This card was made using Nicole Wilson's 'Love Swing Step Card' design. You can purchase the tutorial Bundle HERE it's one of four 3D cards designed by The Dimensionals Team. Nicole's original card had hearts on it, I have added butterflies instead.

I made the same card using Rococo Rose.

When you open the card, the butterfly at the very top swings flat. This is a birds eye view of the opened card.

I sponged ink onto the edges of some of the butterflies and then splattered ink onto the whole card. This can be achieved with a water brush and some ink pressed onto a clear stamping block. Add a little water to the ink and gently flick the ink onto the card using the lid of the water brush.

The final colour I used Purple Posy. I was fortunate to have the Ink Pad and had no problems using it, but if you don't have that colour, then a light purple should do the job.

The Happy Birthday was from Enjoy the Moment which was stamped onto the die cut from Stitched So Sweetly.

I also like the other two colours but have run out of Pretty Peacock Cardstock and time!

I think I would have liked to have stamped a greeting on the front of the cards, but as I was at the beach house all week when making these, I could only use what stamp sets I had with me and nothing suited so they stayed blank.

Well that's all from me today, I hope you got some inspiration and enjoyed your visit. Thanks so much for popping by! A big thank you to Kelly for hosting this Blog Hop!

Keep on hopping around to see everyone's creations. If you get stuck or lost just go to Kelly's blog for the whole list of participants. Click onto the next box to see what Elizabeth has made.

Loves and hugs,
