Speedy Recovery

Hello lovelies,

have you ever needed a get well card immediately and just don't have one on hand? Well I have, a few times, actually. This morning I decided to fix this problem and make a few to add to my card stash.

When I saw this Speedy Recovery Stamp Set in the Annual Catalogue page 76, I decided it was a sweet one for all occasions as a get well card.

One thing I love about this set is not only the choices of images, but the fact that it can be a very fast card to make because the images are already 'coloured in' - you just need to choose your colour ink when you stamp.

I stamped with Smoky Slate onto Basic White, then fussy cut the mug & spoon and mounted them onto the card with Dimensionals so everything 'pops' up. the only actual colouring I did was with a Petal Pink Marker.

The mug was stamped onto the card so I could get the foliage display, then I added a second mug over the top.

The sweet little hearts were punched out from a retired Heart Boarder Punch using Petal Pink Cardstock. But there are other current sets available with heart dies.

The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Basic White & I then fussy cut around each word & attached to the card with Mini Dimensionals. Super easy and super fast.
