Hello lovelies, a big welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month's theme is the Daisy Lane Bundle.
I'm Sharni Haines from Australia you may have started here or come from the very clever Danielle Bennenk either way have a look and keep on hopping around to see what fabulous creations everyone has to share with us!
Daisy Lane might become one of those really versatile stamp and punch duos because it marries up to the existing large Daisy Punch and Stamp set. Therefore you can do so much more when using both products together, I love it!
Today I am going to be showing you three cards I created for the 3 levels: beginner, casual, avid stamper. And, for most likely the very first time EVER, I will be only using this bundle (no other Stamp Sets, dies or DSP from anything else)....that's a true challenge I set for myself, yay!
Card 1 - Beginner.
It's a super fast easy and I believe, sweet card. I stamped all the cards stems with Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White and used White Embossing Powder on a piece of Basic Black Cardstock and glued it flat to the card. The base of the card is Thick Whisper White, I love a strong thick base as I think it improves the quality feel of a card.
Two sets of daisy petals were punched from the Medium sized Daisy Punch.
Card 2 - Casual Stamper
I used a bit of colour for this daisy - the large petal was stamped with Highland Heather onto the same coloured cardstock and punched out using the Large Daisy Punch.
A close up shows the next two layers of petals that came from the Medium Daisy Punch. I used Purple Posy ink and cardstock on one, and stamped the same ink onto a piece of Vellum for the top petals.
The centre of all these daisys is the the new and super cute fuzzy wuzzy Perennial Essence Floral Centers.
Card 3 - Avid Stamper
This card took a little longer, but I was happy with the results. I water coloured the background Shimmery White Cardstock with Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point ink and my Aqua Painter.
To get the petals the colours they are, I used a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock and sponged on Melon Mambo....
.....Gorgeous Grape.....
...and a bit of Rich Razzleberry.
Then I had some fun with my Aqua Pen! I simply flicked water droplets all over the paper and allowed to dry.
Once dry, I punched out 3 daisy petals from both sized punches, curled them a little with my Bone Folder and glued them together.
Once card 2 and 3 were fully assembled, I flicked a little Memento Ink onto them.
To finish off, I glued a few Iridescent Sequins about and tied a little bit of Black twine around the spine.
Well that's all for now!
I hope you found this interesting, useful and has inspired you to try out the new Daisy Lane Bundle .
