Hello lovelies, a warm welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month's theme is our favourite product from the 2020 Mini Catalogue that will be released January 3rd 2020.
I'm Sharni Haines from Australia you may have started here or come from the talented Ruth Trice either way have a look and keep on hopping around to see what wonderful creations everyone has to share with us today.
I have created a card and designed it 3 different ways....
1. The first way is designed for the Beginner, or what I like to also think of as simple & quick stamping. For those who like clean, simple and quick cards using very a little amount of product.
2. Second is designed for the Casual Stamper who has a little more time, more products and likes to try out and use some different techniques.
3. Third is for the Avid Stamper who has the time, an extensive collection of products and a little more experience or likes a challenge!
CARD 1- BEGINNER
I chose to use Grace's Garden today for numerous reasons....this stamp set connects with me on a personal level. My Nanna's name was Grace and she, like my grandmother, had a lovely garden. Also, the old fashioned Hollyhocks and the sweet picket fence remind me of parts of my own garden.
This first card was just simple stamping directly onto some cardstock and colored in with my Wink of Stella Pen. I apologize for the quality of the photo, the light was bad today.
Here are all the colours I used on all 3 cards.
CARD 2 - CASUAL STAMPER
Again, I stamped directly onto the cardstock, this time I added another layer underneath the images. I also drew in some textured lines with the Grey Granite for a bit more depth to the scene.
CARD 3 - AVID STAMPER
Again, the colours are not true to the real thing...but hopefully you can get the idea. Everything looks a little shinny from the Wink of Stella...in real life it's just a bit glittery.
I used the Garden Gateway Dies for this card and went to town! It was so much fun, and really not that hard...just took longer than the first two cards.
All my fences are blue because that is the colour of the fences in my garden. The little cat is grey, like my two British Blue Cats.
The blue and green backgrounds were achieved with the sponge rollers, very quick and easy way to add colour.
This is the inside of the card, a mix of stamped images directly onto the paper and some that have been stamped and cut out then placed on.
Well, that's all from me today. Thank you so much for popping in.
