Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Mini Annual Favourites 2020

Hello lovelies, a warm welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This month's theme is a favorite something from the Mini Catalogue.

I'm Sharni Haines from Australia you may have started here or come from the very clever & wonderful Sara Levin either way have a look and keep on hopping around to see what wonderful creations everyone has to share with us today.

There are a lot of products that I have loved using from the 2020 Mini Catalogue, so it was a difficult choice. Also, there are so many beautiful projects already made with these products that it is hard to design and create something that doesn't look like everything else that's out there!

That's why I decided to go vintage with the Honey Bee Bundle! I bet you haven't seen this design before!

Products I used :

- Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla & Sahara Sand Cardstock

- Tin Tile & Subtle Embossing Folders

- Painted Labels & Detailed Bee Dies

- Honey Bee & Very Versailles Stamp Sets

- Basic Grey, Crumb Cake Ink

- Kraft Pillow Box

- Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack

- Sponge Daubers

- Rhinestone Basic Jewels

There are a few layer to this card, first I embossed some Very Vanilla, inked the edges with Crumb Cake & adhered it to the Crumb Cake Card Base. Then added a piece of embossed Crumb Cake over the top. (This was sponged with Basic Grey Ink).

I stamped, ripped and inked the edges of some Very Vanilla, stamped some bees onto a scrap of Sahara Sand, cut out some beehive shapes and stamped the bee image onto a piece of White Linen Ribbon (from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack).

I also stamped and cut out 3x small bees, 2x large bees & 3 x flowers all from the Honey Bee Bundle.

I used Basic Grey with all the stamping.

I cut 2x shapes from the Painted Labels Dies, stamped and added a large bee on Dimensionals.

Using all these embellishments, I slowly built up my layers over the card to create the finished effect I wanted. You may be able to see the ribbon that I gathered up on itself by adhering Tear n Tape to the back of it.

Over the past few weeks, I have been fortunate enough to welcome three more beautiful members to my team! So I decided to use this card and pillow gift as part of my welcome package. The welcome sentiment comes from a stamp set exclusive to Demonstrators only called 'Stamping Your Way to The Top'.

For the Kraft Pillow Box, I created a belly band using the same technique as I did on the card with the embossed Crumb Cake sponged with Basic Grey Ink, wrapped ribbon around this and finished with the same die cut circle and bee.

I finished off the projects with a bit bling (girls best friend!), by adding a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels about.

I bet you are all wondering...."what's in the pillow box?" Well, nothing at the moment (LOL), but I will come up with something for my lovely new team members.
