Hello lovely crafters and welcome to another fabulous Stamping Sunday Blog Hop!
This month's theme is a look at the new 2020/2022 In Colours.
I'm Sharni Haines from South Australia you may have started here or come from the wonderful Danielle either way have a look and keep on hopping around to see what beautiful creations everyone has to share with us today.
Wowsers! Who knew I could make up 10 boxes and 5 cards all in one morning, photograph them before the sun got too low and post it all in one day!...well, I managed and I still have a few minutes to go before I go live! (I am glad I am not cooking dinner tonight!)
I must say, I do like the new In Colours...and I already have a favourite! ...can you guess?
The new In Colours for 2020-2022 are: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness & Misty Moonlight.
I have made some sweet boxes each each of the colours with coordinating DSP (Designer Series Paper) - FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and 2020–2022 IN COLOUR™ 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.
The sentiment is from Fancy Phrases, stamped with Early Espresso. The dies are from TASTEFUL LABELS DIES.
I tied the boxes with all the new 2020–2022 IN COLOUR RIBBONS.

I got the idea for the cute gift boxes from Pootles! Her video tutorial is here.
Each box lid is made from one whole piece of 6"x 6" DSP - so no waste! (scored at 1" on all four sides)
The bases are 8" x 8", scored at 2" on all four sides.
So it's a pretty quick and easy box to create but a great size to hold a sweet gift!
To match the boxes, I made some cards. I embossed Whisper White cardstock with White Embossing Powder, then with my new Water Brush, added some ink from the ink pads (I always pat some ink onto a clean Clear Block) and washed the colour over the embossing. I also added some flicks of concentrated colour to make the speckles.
The cards were mounted onto the matching colour cardstock and finished with a couple of 2020–2022 IN COLOUR ENAMEL DOTS.
The cards show off the new colours quite well, the inks and the Cardstock. But what I like about it is how the water colouring shows the different shading and depths of colour that can be achieved.
I am planning a Catalogue Launch Party - July 18th and these little projects will definitely come in handy to show off the new colours as well as be part of some lovely door prizes (full of goodies of course!)
That's all from me today. Thank you so much for popping in.
A big thank you to the lovely Sara Levin for hosting the hop!
